ROXY Lip Flip by ROXY Plastic Surgery
If you are nervous about getting big lips and you want to take baby steps or you are on a budget – the ROXY Lip Flip is the right procedure for you. This procedure uses a small amount of Botox injected above your upper lip to allow it to flip out slightly. This makes your upper lip subtly more full.
We participate in the Brilliant Distinctions® program. You can earn instant savings on Botox®, Juvederm®, Voluma, Latisse®, Kybella®, and SkinMedica products – learn more here. We also participate in the Aspire Rewards program to earn savings on Dysport, and Kysse.

HOW IT WORKS

The Procedure
You will be given ice to place over the upper lip and your skin is cleaned off with an alcohol preparation pad. Then one tiny injection is done over your top lip – it takes only a minute. Afterward, you will be ready to go on with your day with no downtime.

Recovery
There is no down-time with this treatment. It will take about 72 hours to start working. You will feel like it is a little harder to make a kissy face or sip on a straw but no one else will notice. When you start to feel this – take a look in the mirror because you will be able to see your results!

Results
The ROXY lip flip will kick in between 3 days and 2 weeks. This subtle flip to the upper lip will make your top lip slightly fuller than before. Like all botox, the results last 3-4 months so most people come in a few times a year to maintain their results. This is the best way to make a quick small change to your upper lip and look very natural! Individual results may vary.

Risks
With every treatment, there are risks involved including bleeding and infection – but these risks are very rare with a ROXY pout:
this is minimal and can be decreased by not taking blood-thinning medications (Advil, Motrin, Coumadin, Plavix, Lovenox, herbal medications, Vitamin E and others) and by using ice before and after the procedure.
If the filler is superficial, this can lead to swelling. After two weeks the natural swelling has decreased. At this point, if we need to dissolve some of the filler to make it look better, we can do that in the office.
If you do not have full correction of the treated area, you may need to address other issues. We will discuss the full recommendations during your consult and may add additional treatments to your plan.
